It's okay to have a treat! Did you know the biggest reason that diets fail is because we often set unrealistic food goals that we cannot maintain on a daily basis? That's right! Often we restrict our diets so much that we often deprive ourselves to the point that we cannot implement those food changes into our daily lives. If you want a cookie-eat a cookie! There are so many better food options out there that we don't have to deprive ourselves of the foods we love. Instead of a full fat/calorie cookie, find a 100 calorie pack cookie. If you don't like those, eat the snack sized version of your favorite treat! Instead of a fast food cheeseburger, make your own at home with lean ground beef, ground turkey or ground chicken. Try to make realistic food choices that make for a lifestyle change and we will be able to maintain healthy eating. Happy Monday! :happy:
