Macros? (I think they're called that!)

Hi guys,
Last week I was finally diagnosed with bilat poly cystic ovaries. I have a rather severe case so my doc put right on metformin and if I don't get pregnant in six months we will change to a low dose of clomid. (I think i'll ask to wait a bit longer though, this really doesn't seem long enough!)
My question really just is about the macros, if thats what they're called, within my daily calorie allowance.
I am currently on 1200/day and try to eat my exercise calories. I have dropped six kilos by the docs scales (from 95 - 89kg) and am happy with how things are going, however I would like to make sure I'm eating a low carb, low sugar diet.
What is a good amount of carbs and sugar to eat daily, with the ability to loose weight consistently?
Thanks for your help![:) :)](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/smile.png)
(Not sure if I should also post this in general message boards, other people might have a better idea but figured I would try you guys first )

You really just have to play around with it til you figure out what works for you.
I have my macros set to 50% fat, 25% carbs and 25% protein, but I wasn't losing any weight on this until I went on to metformin. (I am back to losing weight now)
I don't eat any added sugar if I can avoid it. I don't have a set goal for natural sugars, I find that if I keep the carbs low then the natural sugars are low as well.0
