I realized I am a little behind....
Did you know that it is recommended to have at least 8 glasses (each 8 ounces) of water each day? Did you know that your body is composed of about 60% water? The benefits of drinking water are too many to list so I will just name a few. Drinking water is a way to flush out your system. Drinking the recommended amount of water each day not only aids in flushing your system but can reduce acne, cellulite, promote healthy looking skin and keeping your body hydrated. Bonus-if you are a soda drinker, replace some of that soda with water to help you up your water and calorie intake. Drinking water can help balance your bodily fluids. Water also helps to energize your muscles. When your cells don't have the proper balance of fluid and electrolytes, it causes the cells to shrivel and you don't see optimum muscle performance due to muscle fatigue. I do also drink sports drinks such as Gatorade to help replenish the electrolytes I lose when sweating from a workout but always opt for just one and the low calorie version.
Don't forget to log the calories of what you are drinking as those count too!
Bottoms up!!:drinker:
