Zach Miller, who won the JFK 50 in November, had been working on a cruise ship and training on a treadmill...I have to think he would've done at least a marathon in his training. If I had to do it, I'd have a video of The Runner (documentary of David Horton's FKT running of the PCT) or Unbreakable, the Western States documentary...or both. :)

I personally like the treadmill. The longest I've ever done though is 10 miles. It was raining a few weeks ago for my last run & I seriously considered doing 22 on the treadmill. But then I figured I'd feel like I wimped out on the rain, so I ran outside. My gym has TV's connected to the treadmill's, so I just watch a movie usually when I do my weekly tread run.

I just listened to a podcast where a woman ran 108.8 miles on a treadmill in 24 hours for charity. The rub is that she did it outside. So she was able to interact with people.

Congrats on doing 14 miles. I go nuts after about 3 miles.
