hi, my weight loss has stalled past 6 months and i am not able to get out of it. i am not on any medication and i have my calorie goal set to 1600 , and my macros are
carb-160gms, protein - 80gms and fat - 60gms
i have been doing jillian michelle kickboxing( do not know how many calories i burn) and then i do 100 squats and 150 wall pushups.
how am i supposed to break this plateau? should i increase or decrease my exercise ?
any success stories so that it might motivate a bit and also tips on breaking this plateau

Hmm I'm not too sure what exactly will work for you... it sounds like you are doing a lot of the right things. Unfortunately my own weight loss stalled after I went off of the birth control pill, and didn't start again until I started metformin last month.
I have someone on my friends list who is taking her blood sugars after ever meal, and has found that going for a 10 minute walk after each meal has really brought her blood sugars down. So that might work for PCOS as well if you're not able to go on metformin. Anything that you can do to keep blood sugar down should, in theory, help with your weight loss.
Also the more you can get the carbs down the better it should be. I know that can be a real struggle at first. I would try to make foods like stews and soups in big batches, because that really cuts down on the cost. And just really avoid any sugar. Sugar is evil (for us anyway).
I think you just have to try to mix up your exercises... try new things... try to trick your body. Even going on long brisk walks can be good for weight loss.
Keep going and don't give up! It WILL happen eventually and just remember that all this stuff that you're doing with changing your diet and exercising IS making you healthier, even if it's not showing on the scale yet. And healthier should really be the goal.0 -
You could try lowering your carb intake. A lot of women with PCOS have fantastic results with the keto diet.0
