Good Late morning,
Sorry for the late timing on my post. Its certainly a slow morning for me. Packers lost yesterday (I was there) - nothing worse that sitting listening to a packer game when the Guy to your right is booing all players cause he is a Lions Fan - GTFO - was funny to see a Steelers fan get hauled off for making threats to other spectators. He refused to sit down and blocked the view of others. One guy tapped him on the shoulder to ask him to sit and the man flipped out. Threatened to follow out after the game and fight him. After the game, that guys friends started chucking snow at the packer fans who were just being nice and asking to sit so they could enjoy. Beer and Sports....great combo!
My diet was off this weekend. Saturday was the fun stuff with working and playing DR. Daddy for my Wife and Son both who have strep throat. At least i had the always adorable Nurse Josey to assist! Made some chicken dumpling soup (with yolk free noodles) - yeah no sodiums sucks when you try to make soup. Not as good as my oxtail the weekend before.
Well, while I let the Massive amounts of Beer and Casing Stuffed meat products digest, and let me toe heal up, its time to get back on the wagon and ride this weight loss journey yet again! I Really enjoyed myself this last weekend, and its that feeling to truly enjoy occaisionally that is the biggest reward. Tons of water today and tomorrow!
Tell me about your weekend folks!

It take a while to get used to low/no sodium foods. You'll get there.
Well, the Rams won, 23 to 13 against Tampa Bay :drinker:
It was awesome, my first real pro football game! Robert Quinn broke the QB sack record for the Rams during the game too.
I kept it pretty decent at the park, 1.5 hotdogs, plain, with about 8 nacho chips w/ nacho cheese. WAY over on sodium with our dinner out, but I kept it under 2200 cals for the day. We did a lot of stair climbing too, on top of the walking. Lots of bums hang out around the stadium on game day too...not used to that. Did pretty decent on Saturday though, and today will be fine.
Hubby's going out with some buds tonight, so it's Skyrim all evening long for me!0 -

Saturday was my typical running around day with my daughter. And then at night we did some Christmas "arts and crack" as she calls them! It sounds funny so I don't correct her! Sunday started at 10am making cookies and didn't stop until 6pm. At 1:15 I was like "oh! Are we dvr-ing the game???" then was informed we didn't sell out so I couldn't watch. But the Bills won (not that it matters) so that is good. The kids (mine and my neice and nephew) were awesome on Sunday. Which is good because my daughter and nephew fight like brother and sister. We said it was a Christmas miracle....they agreed!
Proud of myself. Made about 1000 cookies and i didn't have 1!!!! And if i never see a cookie again...it will be too soon.0 -
That's awesome Jill. Glad you had a fun time. How is day 2 going around all those cookies? For me, I failed at my food intake....ill be honest. I swear....I was so happy to be down 1 pound away from goal, and then this morning wake up and find you have put it all back on in a weekend (I know its just unprocessed stuff, but still depressing) - Oh well. It will be a fun game finding out how long it takes to get that back off. Probably a few days....over XMAS:)
Anyway, great job. Stay strong around those cookies! Like I did around some delish cupcakes and homemade non-deadly treats like chocolate covered nuts and pretzels.0 -
Still doing good. No cookies yet! Saving my calories for malibu! Chocolate covered pretzels are my weakness...Haven't run into any of those. Just make sure to keep downing water. That 1 pound will come right off.0
