Hi friends! This is where I need help. My logging/nutrition is not the best. Infact my logging sucks. When I eat well and balanced I have no problem logging. Its when I am not eating the best (too high or too low) I don't log. I know logging correctly is key to healthy weight loss for me. So I am going to make it a goal. I need to get back in to logging and eating right. I need to do it for myself and my workouts. This is a huge thing for me. I really need/want to do this.
Any goals??

I find that using the mobile app really helps with my addiction to always be logging as soon as I can. Plus I really like the graphs and macro breakdown they have in it. That helps when I am trying to watch sodium....but when I just use the website as I have been lately, its easy to go over that macro.
Your diet is probably your best area to focus at. You are working the exercise with success already shown, so perhaps your way of getting more results is to focus on your macros more. I like to watch my percentages of fat protein and carbs. I offset my carbs 10% and spread that out over my protein and fats. Mainly for the diabetic reasons, but it does echo a quasi atkins diet feel, but its really helped me with my dietary restrictions and weightloss plan coming together!0 -
Yes I really need to focus on my diet. I know how to eat well!!! I am just ummm lazy at times. I have a bad relationship with carbs. I know that everything in moderation is ok (for someone with no health issues) yet I feel like I need to limit my carbs too much. So I do really low carbs...get ummm hungry then binge. I have issues!!!
But thats part of my goal. Focusing on a balanced diet. What method are you using for your calorie goal? I am not sure if i should use MFP and eat half of exercise cals back or TDEE - 20%.0
