Well hello ladies. I had made a post in the main forums and someone commented to clue me in on this group!
I participated in Reddit's Body Transformation Fitness Challenge Round 6 in the cutting category which wrapped up for me on December 20th. Finished at 119.4lbs and 17.4% body fat, though I had gotten down to 117 and 17.1% right before I went on a three-week vacation at the end of November, haha. I had worked out every day of vacation, alternating days of cardio and a modified version of NROLW Stage 7, but didn't track food at all.

I officially started my bulk yesterday - doing StrongLifts 5x5 and aiming for a 300-calorie surplus over TDEE, though it was more like 500 yesterday because I was so hungry. I had never done a 5x5 program before, and it's been a bit since I've been under the barbell, so I kept the weights a little lighter: 95lb for squat, 55lb for bench, 45lb for row. Will be at 95lb for DL and 45lb for OHP on Tuesday. Goals are 165+ for squat and DL, 90+ for bench and row, 75 for OHP.
I teach yoga classes so the biggest challenge for me is that I can't hide under sweaters and pants until spring. My plan is to stick with the bulk until I hit 22% body fat, my pants feel uncomfortable, or July rolls around, whichever happens first.

Welcome to the group! I just transitioned out of 2 rounds of Stronglifts and over to Madcow 5x5 a few weeks back. It's such a great feeling jacking those lifts up quickly in the beginning like that. Good Luck on your bulk!0

I've done StrongLifts--great program! I'm currently doing a combined powerlifting/body building program, but our strength goals are pretty much the same. Best of luck to you and welcome to the group.0

Current weights:
130lb squat
125lb DL
55lb OHP
70lb bench
60lb row
Have added creating supplementation, and gotten back into pre-workout BCAAs and daily protein shakes. Already increased my rest periods to 2 minutes (up from 1.5).0
