Well, the surgery went off without a hitch on Monday. I felt pretty good after waking up, with little pain. However, I started having severe nausea around 0400 the morning after, due to allergies and sinus drainage hitting my stomach.

Now that I've been able to get some zyrtec into my system, that's taken care of. Now I'm focused on following the liquids plan that my nutritionist gave me.

Congratulations, and welcome home! Stay ahead of the pain, and work those liquids. The first few weeks I felt like my new schedule of sipping, walking, protein, pain meds and other pills and vitamins was a full-time job. Even wrote up a form to keep track of things until I got the hang of it. Welcome to the "losers' bench!
