I'm Rachel Love TWD and anything zombie related. I already physically prepare for the eventual apocalypse by lifting **** and using the zombies run app. I am totally on board with further training I have a hard time choosing between Daryl and Michon for this but I think I have my mind made up.

Hi, I'm Marie, and surprisingly a fan of the show. I didn't think it would be my cup of tea, but the storyline hooked me in! This is such a great idea, and the geek in me is quite excited. May I be on Team Beth please?0

Ok, so here is my recipe for the week 3 mini challenge:
I'm not much of a cook, so I need things simple, and I hate buying fresh food and it going off because I don't manage to eat it all on time, so I rely a lot on frozen veggies. I also like eating quorn because it is a good source of protein, you can make a tasty meal in 15 mins from the freezer, and it is cheaper than buying meat.
Quorn Chicken and Veg (serves 1)
150g quorn chicken pieces
225g frozen vegetable mix (I love the country veg mix, it has carrots and cauliflower and broccoli, but it is really tasty with spinach or Brussels sprouts as well)
125g cooking sauce of your choice (I use dolmio at the moment, but you can use tinned tomatoes with some sun dried tomato pesto or anything you fancy really)
40g parmesan cheese
1. Cook the quorn chicken pieces with sauce of your choice for 15 minutes as per packet instructions.
2. Steam or boil your chosen veg.
3. Grate the cheese.
4. When quorn is cooked, combine together with a little of the grated cheese and vegetables, then serve with the rest of the cheese on top.
Cals: 472 Carb 13g Fat 22g Protein 40g Sodium 780 Sugar 9
Notes: The pasta sauce and cheese push up the sodium count, so substitute the pasta sauce for tinned tomatoes if you want to cut down on that. Also, 40g of parmesan is a really generous helping of cheese. I've used 20g and still felt really happy with the amount. This cuts down on the sodium, but also on the other values obviously.
I love this meal, I find it really tasty and satisfying. I hope you enjoy it too!0 -
My turn:
I plan on making this tomorrow:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/food/article-1312675/Jamie-Olivers-30-minute-meals-Sea-bass-pancetta-sweet-potato-mash-Asian-greens-berry-ice-cream-sparkling-lemon-ginger-drink.html but without the drink or the ice cream.
I have prelogged it and it is coming out as having the following:
Calories: 541
Carbs: 48
Fat: 21
Protein: 44
That is with only one fillet of sea bass per person, I wish now that I had bought us two each because they are a great protein source.
My other go to protein meal is for lunch I like to have a tin of tuna drained (in brine, not sunflower oil), mix it with a tablespoon of quark (or cottage cheese if I have no quark), add in a few spring onions, season with salt and pepper, spread on a slice of toast and put about 30g of cheddar slices on top and grill till the cheese has melted. Also nice to pour a little worchester sauce on top but I always forget to do that!
Calories: 374 (with cottage cheese)
Carbs: 17
Fat: 11
protein: 47 (is higher when I use quark)0 -

Okay, love the title "Meat" and Greet... LOL
I'm Veronica, 35 yr old mom, wife, WALKING DEAD Freak, artist (not by profession but I wish). I work nights so I don't usually get to see the episode until Monday morning So I hope my friends won't post spoilers!
I'm gonna push myself and join Team Daryl, 240 mins is only 4 hrs, I can do that each week!
I'm doing LCHF and I usually do fast pace walking with some jogging and sometimes running the bleachers at the ballpark when weather permits. Hoping this challenge will give me that extra push to get out there even when I don't feel like it. Can't let Daryl down.0 -
Hi!! I'm hajenkatt, and I'm excited to join. Please place me on Team Carol.0

Hi! I'm Tiffytvs, and I'm a huge WD fan and zombie fan in general. I'm getting married in July, and I've been looking for something to motivate me to get in shape. This is perfect. I'd like to be on Team Beth. My hunch is she's going to step up her zombie killing game even more in the next few episodes.0

Hi! I am Jennifer, love the show! Excited to watch walking dead while losing weight!!0

Hi! My name is Jamison and I am a huge fan girl for TWD! This challenge seems like a really fun way to rev up my journey! I am 23 from Denver, CO and my ultimate goal is to lose 50lbs. For this 9 week challenge I am hoping to lose 15 to 30 of those pounds! I have been very successful in the past but have had a hard time keeping the weight off!! I am not quite sure how these teams work but I would definitely be on team Michone!!! She is such a bad *kitten*!0
