The 5th of October huh? Well, I don't have to sell popcorn but we have rockets from 1 to 3. Currently the weather says sunny on Sunday with a high of 66 F ---- that means cold in the morning. The weather forecast has not been very accurate lately. Predicts sunny and then it rains. Right now, snow tonight. We are in solid fall, early winter mode for sure. I'm about to switch to just spin and training already.

well - that's me in for the ride... strange how it worked out, 200m difference between me and Alan (harksy)...

Strange to think it could all now be decided by how far everyone else rides...

Okay folks - provisional results for this installment (and the overall) are in the spreadsheet.

Congratulations to Brett (@Kupe) - making the best of some Spring weather with by far the longest ride booked this "race"...

Rest of the podium was a close run thing, with barely 200 metres separating Alan (@harksy) and Me - which proved to be a very valuable 200m for the overall.

And, so to the overall competition. I'd said before it was going right down to the wire, and so it proved.

At the end of 10 Classics, with over 6,700km covered between us, it was impossible to separate me and Alan on points. So, it all goes back to distances covered, and therefore the worthy winner this year is...

    Harksy - Congratulations Alan

annoyingly, the forum swap lost half of the entry posts from the logging thread, I'm going to "unsticky" this announcement now, but i'll be leaving the other on in-situ - the disappearance has been reported (repeatedly) via email and apparently they're working on it, but frankly I don't hold out a lot of hope :-1:
