REMEMBER - YOU MUST ADD BOTH CAPTAINS AS FRIENDS AND HAVE OPEN DIARIES so we can double check the exercise figure at the end of each day.

TEAM UK - Can you PM me at the end of each day again with your daily burn - much appreciated!!

And just a note on what we define exercise as because we had this problem the last time, daily tasks like cleaning and making dinner do not count as exercise lol just to be clear!!!

Lets have fun and keep it honest !!

May the best team win and that's gonna be TEAM UK!!!

:drinker:

Just to confirm the definition of exersise. Im taking it that if I normally walk a 2 miles a day from the carpark to my desk and back this isnt classed as exersise but if I do addional activity over and above my normal day that I wouldnt normally do then this is exercise :) already got started so it should be fun

walking is absolutely fine because i walk/run between office and court so i count that, last time we had people using cooking dinner lol which is a daily kinda task you know so i don't think thats fair to count that!

i'll be using a HRM to measure 'gym' burns. Fitbit is used to measure my 'walking' burns (I walk the dog twice a day)

I don't have a heart rate monitor. Can i use an online calculator to estimate calories burned during lifting? Is that acceptable?

Does shoveling snow count? lol That's pretty hefty work sometimes.

@Sarah Yes! Count snow shoveling as an exercise. You would be amazed how much work it requires your body to do.
  • Wish all of you a nice week and epic calorie burn.
