Hello! I'm glad to know other ladies have experienced weight gain with the Mirena. I had one put in May 2013 and have gained 15+ pounds, alsmot instantly!!! ARGGHH!!! I usually maintain a good weight and this is just horrible! At first I thought it was middle age - I'm turning 50 this year. And really, do I even need it at 50???
Well, I'm having it taken out on Feb. 6 and hopefully this weight will go away. In the meantime, following a strict diet and limiting my wine - which I never had to do
