Transitioning Hair and Working Out

Hello everyone. So glad to be a member of this group. I need some serious help. I'm a new transitioner, 3 months post, and I'm having problems dealing with my two textures after working out. My new growth becomes dry and matted from sweating and then I am unable to style it. I've tried coconut oil but it leaves my hair extremely oily. I've tried S-Curl, it works great on the new growth but my permed hair says no. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I know this response is wayyyyyyy late but, have you tried shea butter?
