I thought we could share recipes that would help each other out! I have this no calorie energy drink recipe!!
2 apples, thinly sliced
2 sticks cinnamon
60 oz. water
Put the apples in bottom of jug/pitcher, place cinnamon on top, fill jug/pitcher halfway with ice, and fill it with cold water. Let sit in refrigerator 10 minutes. Do not drink right after you make it, or it will taste like plain water. The longer it sits, the more flavor it will have!
This drink has a lot of energy it, because 1 apple has as much energy as a cup of coffee. If you don't want as much flavor, half the apples/cinnamon. You can also replace cinnamon sticks with ground cinnamon (like I do), using a coffee filter tied with Baker's twine or string.
NO calories, and especially good if you're not a fan of plain water!

I'll have to try this. I can't stand plain water unless I'm really thirsty (after going without on a hot day, or after a workout). This certainly has to be better for you than diet soda and/or Crystal Light--two staples in my day-to-day consumption.0

you're very welcome!
Fadao, the imitation sugar in diet drinks and Crystal Light has caused serious headaches (I'm told), so this would be better for you. It does give a lot of energy as well!0
