Should I lose more weight first?

Hi!

I started Stronglifts and just had my 3rd. session...I really love it...although my form on squats still needs work. I can't stop wondering if I am starting this to soon. I am 241 lbs. (this is after a 75lb. loss) and I was hoping for some feedback on whether or not I should be starting this program with still so much left to lose.

    Definitely lifting while losing is something many of us wished we had done! You may need to modify it to allow more cardio too? Welcome!

    There ain't no rule that says you can't lift if you're a bit overweight! If you have not exercised in the past, you might want to ease into it and add some bodyweight work just to get your form and balance down a bit, but toherwise if you can keep good form ain't no one going to stop you!
