Hey Black Team!! Great workout this morning! I hope you learned some new exercises and burned a few calories! This has been a great start to the week. Keep up your workouts and let's get prepared for next week's cardio blast for Color Wars!
Make sure you do some stretching and hydrate a lot: Remember you should be drinking about 1/2 of your body weight in ounces!! If you are a big sweaty mess and you work out a lot, you should be closer to 65% of your body weight in ounces.
See some of you on Thursday for team training at 5:15am! All are invited to drop in for $20- another good workout- see you then!
Keep it up and as always, let me know if you have any questions. I will be checking those food journals a lot!

A few people were confused by my previous post, so to clarify:
1. For logging your exercise today, try clicking on "circuit training, general" and plug in about 45-50 minutes. Based on your weight, fitnesspal will estimate how many calories you burned.
2. To calculate your target heart rate the easy way, take 220- your age= max heart rate. Then take max heart rate/(divided) by 75%. This will give you an average workout heart rate. Generally, 65%-85% of your max is a good working rate. Some folks are comfortable with a higher heart rate. And keep in mind, heart rates in the 90th percentile or above will only be for intervals, not sustained periods.
3. For Thursday morning as an optional workout, this is "Team Training" not "L2W Team Workout"- so it is not part of lose to win, it is small group personal training. For the new Team Training classes that start the week of Jan 27th, pick up a flyer at the fitness desk. There is one small correction, the Battling Rope Shred class is listed at 5:15am on Tuesday, but it should be listed as Thursday (obviously our L2W workout is Tuesday!!). So I welcome anyone to come try it this Thursday at 5:15am. It is a $20 drop in or starting Jan 27th, for 8 weeks of Team Training it is $140.
I hope this clears a few things up! Go team!0
