I've been ttc. I'm on the 2 week wait. Positive I'm pregnant, nausea, headaches, sore nipples, nipples look different, having cramps, can't stand some smells etc. I wasn't very active in my past 2 pregnancies and I'm kinda worried about doing too much. I've been lightly jogged and doing 30 day shred before now. I know they say if you have been doing it before you can keep doing it. Part of me worries but that implantation might not happen properly or something could go wrong this early on. It doesn't help that a few months ago I had a chemical pregnancy. I'm just after some experiences or supportive words. I really want this pregnancy (if I am pregnant) to be healthy and not to put on too much weight like I have in the past.
Thanks :-D

I went on a skiing holiday during my first pregnancy (about six weeks pregnant) and I was very nervous about falling and losing the baby. However, my obstetrician said I couldn't dislodge that foetus if I tried and not to worry. If it's going to stick, it's going to stick.
I ran a lot up to 20 weeks while pregnant and lost one at 12 weeks, which had nothing to do with exercise but was just one of those things that happen. Miscarriages most often happen because there's something wrong with the development of the baby.
You'll be fine. Try not to stress about it. If you want reassurance about the best activity level during your pregnancy, talk to your doctor/midwife.0 -
I ran a marathon 3 days after finding out I was pregnant( that I had trained nearly 5 months for). Early miscarriages (and probably most) are not caused by something physical the mother does. They are often chomasomal and unfortunatley, unpreventable. I'd say go ahead and do what you've already been doing!0

Thanks ladies. I think I'm going to try to continue doing my usual stuff. I'll say try because yesterday I hopped on the treadmill for my usual slow jog but had to stop and walk due to it making me feel nauseous. Today I think I might be having implantation pains. Terrible pinching pains thru my lower abdomen/pelvic area. Only time will tell........0
