Day 11 - Level 2

Did anyone else try Level 2? I feel like a total FAILURE! I had to rewind several times to get the moves down let alone try to keep up with her! She is all about planks and workouts involving them. Plus the pendulum lunges.... I feel so defeated! Is anyone else doing each level as 10 + 10 + 10 for the 30 day 3 levels or should I stick with Level 1 for another week?

I started level 2 today as well... Took a rest day on Monday, but will be doing 10+10+10. So happy to hear I'm not the only one who totally tanked! Level 2 is crazy. Couldn't keep up with the plank exercises at all!
Trying not to be too hard on myself... Just kept thinking how badass I'm gonna feel when day 10 rolls around and I'm planking like a boss :bigsmile:0 -
Yay! We're in it together! I'm not an expert so I'm not sure about rest days etc. but I'm gonna keep trucking and remember how good I felt to survive the pushups! lol We will conquer those planks! All 900 of them! ;-)0

I'm doing 10+10+10. I took 2 days off to rest, but made them up. I just did day1 of level 2 today.... Oh wow. I agree. I feel like a failure... I had to stop and take a big ol breath a couple times. (never longer than like 2seconds) But still. I'm trying to do the "advanced" version on most exercises. Uhm, squat thrusts... HA! I do maybe 5/6 then switch to mountain climbers. (quicker than anita, but still only 1 leg at a time). What else... Oh, I popped my hip yesterday, (yes, I feel like an 80 y.o. woman! LOL (btw, I'm only 29!) And it was super sore all day yesterday, still feeling it a little today, so I my squats weren't as good as they could have been. And the stupid v raises. Really??? I sucked at the anterior raises... LOL! I did about half of them the first round, the second round, I dropped my weights, and only added them the last 5.
I'm gonna feel this tomorrow... My arms are still jiggly..0 -

I hear you. Almost all those exercises are ridiculous! I kinda feel like Jillian skipped a level, lol. But you can definitely tell that they work. The burn is unmistakable!0 -
I was actually expecting it to be worse than it is, the way people were talking on the forums. I found the first 2 circuits challenging, but not too bad actually. That third circuit killed me, but it seems like it will be doable by the end of the ten days. (TseliB, I know what you mean about "skipped a level!")
I have weak shoulders, so I'm having trouble staying in plank for so long while I jump around with my feet and everything, but I'll just rest for a moment on my knees and then continue. Maybe this is just the thing I need to strengthen those shoulders up!
The backs of my legs are aching in a good way.
I took a bonus rest day yesterday because I tweaked my back. I don't think it was during the workout, though. (I was lifting some stuff around the house the other day, too.) I'm going to give Day 12 a shot tonight and see how I do. I'm hoping I can continue, because these results are great!! My momentum is up and I want to continue. It's feeling much better today, but keep your fingers crossed for me!0 -
I am almost done with level 2. It has always stopped me before. This time it has been way easier. I decided to stick with the motified versions of all the exercises at the start and I have been able to build up over the days to doing some unmodified, not the entire thing just yet tho. Maybe by day 100

Whew! Though I am winded as I sit here typing, I am happy to say that not only am I done Level 2 Day 1, it was far better than I remembered it. I was dreading starting but saw all of your earlier posts and decided to get it done - thanks Hopefully by Day 5 (okay, Day 10) I won't find the circuit 3 strength to be oh so evil lol0

I completed day 3 of level 2 today, it was tough but im pushing through. I've decided the times that i take little breaks i count and do extra at the end after i stretch.
I'm struggling with the fact that i have not lost any weight but picked up 3 lbs... this is the first time exercising in a while and im pushing myself so i figure theres alot of water on my muscles. I only lost about 3 inches in the first 10 days so im looking forward to seeing what comes about after day 10 of level 2.

First day of Level 2 completed today...
OH MY - really not digging all the planky ones... and it was a total killer !!!
Trying to remember if I felt this bad after day 1 of level 1..l..
I am with you guys and goung to stick with it... I will probably do it Monday to Friday and rest on Sat and Sun - I did that last week and it seemed pretty good - the last days didnt kill me after resting (in fact if anything I felt a bit stronger!)0
