what crazy mofos run in this weather?

So, I started indoors last spring. Got the courage to hit real terrain when the weather was perfect. Slacked off in the fall. I just hate cold and was not at all equipped, mostly having shorts. Now I have some pants. I would like to make it my goal to become a crazy that runs in darn near any and all conditions. For those that do, what is vital? I see and hear about screws in shoes or do-dads over your shoes for running over ice. What about rain? How do you not funk up your shoes? Do you treat, wash or designate a pair for each condition? Smart wool? Sleeves? What are your best go-to places for this stuff? Certain stores, online sites, ebay? A fan of any knowledge, Tia :)

I run in the cold down to about 15, but that's it. My gym has an indoor track, so I don't have to be all stupid about it.

Get running tights if you haven't, good ones. I usually wear 3 layers. Long sleeve tech shirt, then a short sleeve tech shirt, and a running jacket. After about 3-5 minutes, it's plenty. Tights and some plain gym pants on the bottom. Thick wool socks keep my feet fine. They'll clothes will cost you, but they're worth it. I've never used the spike things, but I've heard they're gread. I usually just run on the street in my neighborhood once it's cleared. Not much traffic around here, so it works fine.

I run outdoors down to between 10-20 degrees, depending on the wind. I won't run on ice at all. Snow, however, is fun to run in. Especially about an inch of new stuff. I have thermal tight and a pair of nike running pants that are super warm. Needs to be below 25 to wear them and not be too hot. Up top, i'll wear a long sleeve tech shirt and my Saucony running jacket. And of course, hat and gloves.
