food babies

Hey girls
I have a problem that many of you probably share and I thought I ask for opinions.
Some days I'm walking around with the biggest food baby in the world! My problem is not just that it does actually look like I'm pregnant (love big winter jumpers and scarves) but I'm more annoyed by the fact that it hurts!!
At first I thought it was because of the sheer volume of food I consume, and 3100 calories of veggie food is an awful lot I assure you (even if substituted with lots if ice cream, biscuits and chocolate).
But I have recently noticed that i don't always have a food baby and was wondering if it was maybe a particular type of food that gives me this blessing (see what I did there?)? Have you noticed that you get it when you eat something specific?
Or am I just plain weird?

LMAO
Sorry, I don't have anything super useful to contribute. I get giganto-food-babies on the days I don't eat enough earlier on and have to cram in All The Food at supper, but there's nothing in particular that makes it worse - just food bulk generally.0 -
I try to shoot for higher calorie foods- and I graze on crap all day long just to get it all in. I'm not eating near 3000- but I"m thinking about upping it a bit. (god I don't want to).
I never really seem to have a food baby unless I go nuts at dinner when we are out. High calorie- and I graze- seems to solve the none existant problem for me.
Oh- I also eat like 3-800 calories when I get home from the gym at 1115 PM... so shower- eat- bed... nice and warm and full- delicious food coma and I'm not awake to deal with whatever food baby I am consuming.0 -
I do have a massive breakfast everyday... but I don't always get food babies from it.
I thought maybe someone noticed a couple of trigger foods
I eat a lot of nuts, avocados, olives, chocolate and such (although I try to not start the chocolate before dinner otherwise I end up eating more like 5000 calories just in chocolate... wish I was joking)
guess I have to learn to love my baby...0 -
I do have some major food baby issues from time to time, but haven't been able to track it to a certain food or food group. It does appear to get worse when I drink less then my usual 2 L of tea per day.0

When it comes to food babies, I have a full blown creche!
I do eat a lot of veg & fibre. I was never one of those kids who was fussy about their vegetables - I love them. However even when I tried cutting down on veg/fibre or have not eaten properly for a few days due to gastro or something, the food baby is still there. I now am pretty used to people asking me 'when I am due'. :grumble:
If anyone has some good tips on how to remove the food babies, please let me know!0 -
I totally have food babies...I'm starting to look about 5 months pregnant.0

I only get them when I eat certain foods. I'm pretty sure yeast does it do me (so breads, etc.). I literally look like I'm 6 months pregnant. Round, hard stomach just poking out there. It's ridiculous!0
