Anyone else planning on doing the Tour De Patrick in providence or worcester?0
-
I was probably just going to do the Providence run. But this one looks cool too: http://www.bgcb.org/2013-st-patricks-day-road-race/
Either way I don't think I have any green running gear, so I need to get some!0 -
Is anyone else interested in running a St. Paddy's race? I'd like to do one to kick off my running season.0

Unfortunately I have a "gala" to go to the Saturday before St. Patrick's Day, so I'll probably be hungover...0

If anyone is interested in a race, just say so!0 -
The race in Worcester on the 9th looks fun. And it's right before the parade so it can be a family event too. I might run that one if others are. I can't really swing the registration fees for any races in March through May, so I may have to run rogue...0

I'd love to do a St. Paddy's Day race! (and by race, I mean staunchly representing the Clydesdale Turtle division!)
That said, I've got travel 3/1-mid-March, so I'll commit once I've got firm dates.0 -
Sadly, I'll be on crutches but.....if anyone is interested there is a really cool race series in the Merrimack valley area. Its a 3ml - 4ml - 5ml series, with the first one on Feb 23. Each race is sponsored by a local Irish Pub. I've done it in previous years and they are great races - fun environment, and good beer :drinker:

I was considering the Malden Rotary Road Race on March 22. There is a 5k and 10k option. I'm considering the 10k. I've only run 1 10k. It was an 88 degree day, so I wasn't performing well and ran it in 1:01:29. I want that off the books before my goal 10k in June.0

There's an awesome 10k coming up in June: The Old Sandwich Road Race. It follows a colonial area road (unpaved) from Plymouth to Sandwich.0

I'm good with the race in Worcestor if others are. I'm slow, so I don't expect anyone to stick with me! haha.0

Thank you so much for posting this! And wouldn't it be extra-Irish of you to limp 3 miles on crutches for a beer? :drinker:0
