Hey all! I just recently got back into MFP and am exploring the different group options in hopes of meeting a few people to talk to/make a support group with! This one especially caught my eye, and I'll tell you why with a little brief history of myself:

I've had severe depression issues ever since I was a child. Granted, when I was a child the depression was not as severe as it is now, but it has always existed. I have struggled my entire life with being social and interpreting social actions. I might have an undiagnosed form of ASD (Asperger's or some other kind) along with depression, but definitely depression. I have been to several therapists my life. Some were helpful, some were not. I've had plenty of hospital visits in my life. And to top it all off, I've struggled with my weight for a long time, too, which did not help with anything. I'm a 21-year-old female at 5'6" weighing 226-230 pounds (fluctuates).

I currently take medicines to help my moods, which do help my moods quite a bit, so that's a plus. But I'm hoping that by exercising more and eating right, I might help alleviate some depression I might have, or at least learn to manage it better.

I like the support on this site, and everyone I've talked to thus far has been wonderful! If anyone struggles with the same as I do, feel wholeheartedly free to add me! Even if not, I like talking to new people and support everyone who has a goal! Good luck to everyone in meeting their fitness and mental health needs!
