I'm about a quarter done. Was also reading "The Rules of Dreaming" by Bruce Hartman.
I do like the Night Circus -- expect to finish in a couple days.

Finished! A good book though I found it a little confusing jumping back and forth in time. I will never think of a circus in the same way after reading this book!

I liked the descriptions of the scenes, could put myself there and feel the cold of the ice tent.

We'll have to pick another book soon though I have several waiting on my Kindle already.

I agree. Sometimes I don't like too much description but this was just right. In this book, it was necessary to get the "feel" of the circus! Yes, it did jump around a lot but once I figured it out, I thought it was well done!

Looks like it's only me and you, haha! I just started the book "Wild". Any ideas what you'd like to read next?

Maybe we should just recommend books to each other. Who wrote Wild? I can get that one.
Amazon has a new feature for "prime" members that gives you a choice of a new pre release book each month. I just read "Long Knives" by Charles Rosenberg. Very good if you like thrillers.
I just started reading Time Trap by Micah Caida. Grabbed me on page 1.
My next one will be Death By Deceit by Jaden Skye or The Getaway by Tom Barber. Or another romance novel for a break from the thrillers.

I signed up for bookbub.com and get a list of books that are free or less than $4 available on several sites.

I'll keep here checking back for more recommendations from you.

"Wild" is by Cheryl Strayed. Loved it, definitely recommend it!

I just signed up for Amazon Prime so I've been scrolling through all the books that are free to me right now; I just started "The Woman" by David Bishop, which is apparently some type of mystery. It grabbed my attention right away so here's hoping it's good! I'll check out those other books you suggested after I finish this one :)

    What are you currently reading?

Just finished Abandon by Blake Crouch. This was a free early release on Amazon in February (to be released in March).

About a ghost town in the mountains of Colorado (1890s) where a group go looking in 2010 for reasons why the people just disappeared.

Sounds like an awesome book. Did you enjoy it? I will have to look in to that one!

I'm reading "The Invention of Wings" by Sue Monk Kidd. Probably not a book I would have picked on my own but I'm reading it for a book club. I'm enjoying it so far, although I've only read a few chapters.

I did enjoy Abandon. Kept me guessing what would happen next and who was going to show up where. Then I read Humpty Dumpty in the Nursery Rhyme mysteries by Ben Hopkin. A murder mystery told from the angle of the investigators. The murderer they named Humpty Dumpty because he keeps burying parts from the same body in different areas across the country. I didn't like the ending because it left me hanging. Maybe it will continue in the next book in the series.?
I started a new book Death in the Beginning by Gary Williams. Two archeologists discover a cave with art on the walls by Noah's son Ham depicting the animals on the Ark. Gets into religion and the paranormal.

My mother in law is a big fan of the Nursery Rhyme series... I've heard it's pretty awesome! Maybe I will check that out next! I'm pretty sappy and am reading "The Outlander" series and am reading the 4th book right now.

ETA: I just got done reading "The Woman" by David Bishop. Not my favorite book but it was entertaining... about a lady that gets involved in illegal government matters inadvertently, only because she is friends with someone who is involved.

Death in the Beginning is good. Lots of intrigue.
Now I'm reading Hidden by Catherine McKenzie

Hi - I'm back! I had my baby a few weeks ago. He's doing well, as am I :)

I'm currently reading the 5th book of the Outlander series. These books are so long and I didn't realize just HOW long until now, when I have limited time to read!

Congrats on your delivery. Hope it was easy. Enjoy the baby.

I just finished the Evil trilogy by Vickie McKeehan. Kept me interested all the way through. I got the first one free on Amazon then borrowed the other two from Amazon. Since you only borrow one per month and I got book 2 mid April, I was reading Crime Czar by Tony Dunbar - and put it down yesterday to borrow and read the third Evil book. Great ending!

The Evil trilogy is great if you like murder mysteries and romance. I like the way these books do both and couldn't wait to read the next book.
    Enjoy that cute baby.
