Good morning everyone! Today is better than yesterday. I went over my calorie limit on both Monday and Tuesday, and had gained a pound consequently. Yesterday I was under, and lost that pound I gained - so now I can focus on losing "new" weight this week, which is exciting!

When I work out, I do mainly cardio, and I've decided that I need to add strength training in. I've been working on abs more, and last night at the gym I did strength training for my upper body. I hope I can get into a routine with strength training, as I have been reading on MFP, it seems to be a very important part of getting fit, losing inches, and losing weight.

I am also looking into buying a food scale for home, I think that will help a lot tracking calories.

How is everyone else doing today? Anyone have any success stories about doing more strength exercises? Has weighing your food made a big difference to you?

Hello. Well done on getting back on track.
I have a food scale and it really helps. I weigh everything out including little things like grapes etc.
I look back now and wonder how many calories i used to eat before i started MFP i must of being over eating by a hell of a lot x

I LOVE my food scale! The portions on foods that are in cups are just so far off. I like weighing and knowing exactly what calories I am eating. Good for you for getting back on track Hubn!

Yesterday (the 30th) was actually a good/bad day. I don't get it. I ate out 3 times but still stayed in my calorie budget. Yet, I still felt a wee bit guilty. I think I am looking into this diet too much and taking it too serious. The calories are there for me to eat, and I exercise every day without eating those calories back. I am going to try to be easier on myself from now on.
