Hello Everyone!
So far so good, everyone did well this week! That is, if you weighed in and sent me your weights! I’m still missing quite a few people, so if you still want to weigh in, email me today or tomorrow and I will enter it. If you don’t, that’s ok too! Here is the leader board by body weight percentage from what I have:
1. Spencer Lowe
2. Diana Behunin
3. Jaleen Smith (And, no I didn’t cheat! If I were to do that I’d be in first place!)
But keep in mind this might change if I get some more weights entered. I’ll send an updated leaderboard if it does.
Anyways, I’m super excited for our Super Bowl “food gathering” tomorrow! And for the Super Bowl! I definitely found something tasty and healthy for everyone to try. Want to bring something but having trouble finding a recipe? Here’s an idea that I got from Livestrong this week: Making healthy swaps in the ingredients for your favorite recipes. They had a few ideas that can be found in this article here ! I found it quite useful!
Also in the spirit of things, I found something fun for you all try during the big game. It is a Super Bowl Fitness Challenge ! This challenge gives you a work out activity to do for every touchdown, field goal, extra point, safety and for first downs! Try doing it by yourself, for your favorite team, for both teams or get your whole Super Bowl party involved by separating into the teams you’re routing for. And if you really want to burn some calories during the game, do this challenge and work out for the Seahawks, because they will be killing it on Sunday!
Lastly, I haven’t planned any type of activity for tomorrow afternoon as I will be leaving early. But I will say, I have been doing the mile indoor walk that Linsey sent to us all the last two days and I highly recommend it! Not only are you burning off a few extra calories every day, but it’s a great de-stresser! Which is important in managing your health as well! If anyone wants to get together as a group and do this tomorrow after the “food gathering”, I’m more than happy to oblige!
