Cant wait for medical insurance!

My husbands place of employment shut down in March, it took several months to find a new job but at lower wages and now we have the 90 weight for medical. Once we get that IM FINDING A NEW DANG DOCTOR.
I had to pay out of pocket for my labs last month and the guy cant even bothered to look over them to adjust my meds. I really dont know whats going on in his personal life but he USED to be a GREAT doctor but over the last few years he goes back to his home country every 2-3 ms for about a week. He pushes up yearly or bi yearly checkups and makes mandatory 3 month check ups for EVERYONE and half *kitten* his job. Never listens to complaints of me or other family n friends that see him its just frustrating
For bout 4 months ive been suffering quite a bit of hair loss, the weight loss has been slowing ( Although the last 2 weeks I havent put in much because of concussion recovery but the month or so before hand it slowed quite a bit) I am dealing with constant hunger, constipation and now circulation issues again with my arms
Im slowly adding more potassium to my diet in hopes of combating the symptoms but just wish the doc would pull brain out of his bottom n do his job While telling him bout my hospital stay and the post concussion syndrome i was diagnosed it was the first he heard of it cause he didnt even bother reviewing patient charts for the day yay. ( eye roll) Flat old told me he wont even look into a follow up on my head til i get insurance. Jaw to the floor. Mind you I still had to pay for the appointment.
So anywho thanks for letting me rant. I know you guys would understand lol ( Well the ick feeling of the body going into or being in hypo) Sigh (((hugs everyone))) heh

Hi Grump! I know this is a few months late but i know exactly the frustration you were feeling! I hope now you have your new insurance and have found that perfect dr.
I am still on the dx journey and doing it without insurance is probably one of the biggest triggers for the worst symptoms i go through daily. After saving for months i finally made it to a dr to find some compassion or maybe an idea of what do, only to be met with "eat fewer calories...obviously you over eat...theres no way you could be malnurished if you aren't underweight...you cant possibly gain weight without eating junk unless you are sick or something"..the horrible list of offensive statements goes on and on. I tried to explain that i hadnt been able to eat more than a few bites of food a day, had been constipated for weeks only to break the cycle with super loose bowels then back to nothing, that i exercised and drank over a gallon of water a day and never had my thirst quenched, that my voice was gone and my throat was always sore no matter what i did. I didnt even bother trying to explain the mental anguish, exhaustion, and strain even getting out of bed created. Every word fell on deaf ears because i was too fat and needed to cut calories. I should have insurance within the next month or two so hopefully i can find help and hope when all i feel is the lessness of both.
Good luck and i hope you are feeling 100% now! (Or as close as possible anyway)

P.S. this is the first time i had the courage to post on the forum. Thank you0 -
