Hello all!
If you live in the UK or have any access to Channel 4, a new series called Big Ballet will be starting tomorrow night!
It's on at 9pm, Channel 4. Wayne Sleep and Monica Loughman take a number of aspiring dancers who are battling weight, height or ability issues and who may not have the typical "Ballet Body", through intense training and finally, onto a performance.
As a larger dancer and general lover of anything Ballet, I can't wait to see it and it looks brilliant :-) It would be great to hear your thoughts and reactions to the programme or the issues facing modern Ballet stereotyping in general.
