Tip of the day-have patience!

As we continue on our weight loss journey-keep in mind that we didn't stray from our fitness goals overnight and we will NOT get results overnight. It takes motivation, dedication and consistency! If you are feeling like you are not getting the results you are looking for just think about how long you have been trying to achieve your results. Everyday is one day closer to your goal. REMEMBER-on average the safest way to lose weight is 1-2 lbs per week. Which makes for a SLOW process but the healthy way to lose weight. More often you will see your inches decrease before the scale goes down so try not to be obsessed with the scale. Pants a little loser? Tightening that belt one notch lower? Can you now put on those cut knee length boots that have been sitting in the back of the closet because before they couldn't go past your calf? Take that as progress and your reward. We will get there.

    Hi. I am not in your area but would love to be a member here.

    The first time I took a ZUMBA class at my local Y, I didn't know what to expect, but found myself enjoying it - until at one point my body went one way and my knee went the other way.

    So, instead of taking classes I have the dvds at home (ZUMBA Incredible Results) that I do at my pace, practicing the moves so that I don't injure myself again.

    I want to lose about 88 lbs. and would love to join this group.
