That would be fun, BeeBee! I don't have any friends near me that are into this sorta stuff (or near me at all really, haha) but my husband loves it, so it'd be fun to do a couple/pair costume like Kirito & Asuna from SAO, or Tomoya & Nagisa from Clannad. I even have dango plushies!
Mabbzie, that sounds awesome!! I can't imagine what a challenge it'll be to get your hair to stay like that, haha. Hope you invested in a ton of hair product!!
I wanted my hubby to do the Tomoya/Nagisa thing.. I also brought up him getting a Kyon outfit to match my Haruhi Suzumiya.. and then I brought up Roy Mustang and Riza Hawkeye. He won't cosplay!! T_T0 -
Aww, all of those would be great couples outfits!! My husband and I actually decided to do a small cosplay for A-Kon in June, though it's not anime related. I know not everyone does anime cosplays at anime cons, so hopefully it's ok! We're going to crossplay Ellie & Joel from The Last of Us! He's already got most of Ellie's outfit, and I just need a green button down and maybe some hiking boots for Joel's. Then we each need a backpack. I already found the perfect one on Amazon for Joel!! Or should I say Joelle, haha. Now to just find the right shirt! Should be comfy, and subtle so we don't get too much attention (if any, haha). I'm excited!

That sounds amazing. My hubby finally got the Last of Us in November and beat it once already and now is playing it at a harder level. He says the next game he gets won't be another "game" but the DLC for Last of Us. I don't think he'd even cosplay a video game character. I would love to do Zoey from L4D and have him do Louis from L4D.. I know they're not a couple but hubby and I met through L4D online and I'd always play Zoey and he'd always play Louis lol.0

The Last of Us is my husband's favorite game.
He's played it through... three times I think? Not entirely sure! He just recently beat it on hardcore mode, I think it's called survivor mode? I'm not sure, to be honest, haha. It also works that I'd be Joel 'cause we're both from Texas! ^_~ I think that DLC comes out this weekend actually! I know he was super excited about it.
That would be cool, too! It doesn't have to be cannon, for sure. That's awesome y'all met through L4D!! We met through WoW. I'd love to do a WoW cosplay but I feel like it'd be really complicated, haha. 0 -

Update: I have gotten about 1/3rd of my Catwoman outfit finished! I've decided to wear it at Planet Comicon on that Saturday. I'm going to wear my more comfortable/casual Daria cosplay at Planet Comicon on Friday. Anddd.. depending on if I'm up for it, I'll wear Catwoman again on that Sunday at Naka-Kon. We'll see if I'm cosplayed out by then, haha.0

I jsut got my spandex and fishnet in this week for Maya and I cannot wait to get started. I REALLY hate having to change the patterns though because I have such a short waist and a big booty (tones, but big). This week will be measuring and pattern adjustment so I hope to have the leotard part done in the next couple of weeks. Then I will be onto adding the detail work with a yeloow/gold vinyl so that'll be fun, lol. When I work I watch cosplay music videos on youtube and it keeps me motivated.0
