Hello,
I just got a bodymedia fit and have questions. First one, do the amount of steps I take count towards my calories burned? Reason why I am asking is because I ride horses, and this morning when I rode, it told me I hit my 8000 steps by 10:40am. So I did not know if that counted towards my calorie burned and activity level. If so do I need to remove it before riding.
Thank you so much.
Kathy

I don't think the modern device take horseback riding into account. Not to say that it is not an activity. I recall it kills your core, butt and legs.
Check out this site and look down about a full page length. You will see horseback riding. I think I would use something like this and ignore the body monitor when you are back in the saddle.
