Just looking for ideas when it comes to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I started reading the book and I am on the section that deals with food.

Breakfast is the easiest for me. I am in love with a whole wheat English muffin topped with Almond butter (I use the one with maple) and sliced banana. It holds me over until lunch.
I have been having salad for lunch but they only hold me over if I add protein. I bought Perdue frozen grilled chicken strips. They heat up nicely in microwave for 70 seconds so I add that to salad. It is also nice because I can have it for dinner if I am in a hurry.
Dinner is the hardest especially with children not eating the same way. I try to cook a nice soup on weekends to have through the week. Otherwise I like brown rice, quinoa, couscous...all with some sort of veggie and a lean meat. My husband and I like tofu so that is my choice sometimes. Also I love the spicy black bean burger from Morningstar.0 -
I have been doing soaked oats with chia seeds and soy milk for breakfast. fast and easy, grab and go. Cuties (mandarine oranges) for snacks, chicken for dinner. Salad or soup for lunch. Kids eat what I eat because it's healthy and good for them to learn good habits too. (They just get some extras from grandma)0
