Problem or Not

I noticed a lump (hard and circular) under one of my incisions that had the largest bruise last night. This particular site has been the most tender since my surgery. Going to call Dr. and ask to have checked out.
I did have weekly post-op appointments set up for the next 4 weeks, but yesterday received a call that they were changing from 4 to 2 follow-ups and these would take place the 2nd and 4th week post surgery. So, maybe I can still be seen today.
Anything you feel is out of the ordinary or just doesn't feel right, get checked before it becomes more serious. It will also give you peace of mind.
Everyone have a good day and keep journaling.

I'm 4 months out and still have lumps in my scars. Best to get it checked though, if you're worried.0

Thank you. I did go this morning as I was concerned over the si ze and the fact that when I move/walk/bend it pulls and is not as much painful as it feels like it is tight and being pulled. Dr. stated I do have a hematoma about the size of a $.50 piece, and to keep an eye on it for any changes. It was probably the major laproscopic site.
I was very surprised to learn that I have only lost 2 pounds since my surgery a week ago. The Dr. explained that it was more than likely due to the IV solutions I had while in the hospital. Has that been your experience?0
