First workout tomorrow

I have read the PDF and downloaded the app. I'm curious though - has anyone not been able to do the reps with the 45 pound Olympic bar? I've rejoined goodlife and am planning to go in the am. I'm just wondering what to do if I can't do all 5 with the bar. I'm hoping they have a bar lol

    I couldn't do the bench press or overhead press with the bar for a long time, so I used dumbbells and built my way up slowly. Don't be discouraged if you can't do it at first! It's all about the process. Hope you have fun during your first workout!

    I started with a regular bar (20 lbs) and worked my way up. No shame in starting with lower weights.

    At some point the 45lb bar will become your warm-up weight. :wink:

    I actually started with Bodyweight and dumbells as well.

    I am lucky to have standard bars too (less weight)

    OK thanks. I'm ready to go now! Why am I so nervous to go into the free weight section at the gym lol?
