Hey there fellow expats! I guess one thing about living away from home is that while your friends and family are "snowed in", you might be playing outside...or v.v.

Most of my fb friends and family just got dumped with snow yesterday. Meanwhile, I went for a run in a t-shirt. :glasses: It's certainly not always this way. They've had an unusually Winter-y Winter, and we've had a fairly mild one (although, not unusual, but we /can/ get colder Winters from time to time--just not this year).

Just wondering how the weather is in your corner of the world? How do you take advantage of the local climate--whatever it may be?

Here in Brasil, the weather is heavenly. It allows me to walk almost everywhere in comfort (it gets a *little* warm some days, but nothing I can't handle. In short, comparing the climate in Maine, USA to São Paulo, BR is apples and oranges. Make that FROZEN apples and oranges!

Hot as all get-out. I played basketball yesterday (outside) and it was 103 in the parking lot. We're going to do it again in a few weeks. But I would not trade my 103 heat for being blanketed with snow, ever!
