Didn't Exercise

I was so tired from the week that for the first time since coming home from the hospital, I didn't exercise. However, I did have both boys (3 and 5) for the day and took them to the Bounce House at the Mall. Wasn't open yet, so we went to get their parents some Valentine gifts then we walked around for a while until it opened. A lot more walking than I usually do.
I believe my new lamp is making a difference in my outlook. I got one of those lights that are supposed to help Vitamin D levels by bringing in more of a natural light.. The light does look more natural and is not blinding. I am going to switch out all my lamps (floor and table) for these.
Today, looking for a recumbent seat for my duo trainer that currently has that little bike seat. From past experience know I will average 45-60 minutes at a time with a new, more comfortable seat as the time just flies by before I know it.
Also, hope to see my twin nieces that were born on the 7th, same day I was released from the hospital.

I plan to head to the mall tomorrow before it officially opens. They open it up at 7:30 am for the 'mall walkers'. I'll probably get lapped by the little old ladies with walkers but I'll do what I can. Since it will have been just 3.5 days since surgery, I'll just try to make it around part way and sit and rest.
Often there are mom's with their kids there early too in the play area which is genius since it's not crazy busy. And my niece is coming over to visit with her little one tomorrow too! But twins!! that is extra special and I'm so envious. Enjoy your day with them.0 -
Thank you for your post. I hope to have a really good day. Plan on exercising on the elliptical bike at least two separate times.0

It's true. I got lapped by quite a few people yesterday. And I didn't make it all the way around the mall but did make it halfway before I had to sit down to rest. Then another quarter of the way and sat down to rest...then straight back to the car. I'll try again today for the same, and maybe I'll do better. It's funny that I feel strong for a while and then my energy is gone. Like someone turned on the fire hose - whoosh, no more energy.0

Got right on the bike this a.m. and went 15 minutes at a moderate pace. Searching for a recumbent seat (seat w/back) to replace the bicycle seat. This seat is so uncomfortable and I know from experience I will go as long as 45-60 minutes if I can find the replacement seat as they are so comfortable and I love to read. I also have the TV where I can turn it around and watch it, although I haven't done that yet.
Maybe I can find the motivation to get in at least two more sets of 15-20 minutes today. I know if I can be consistent with the exercise for a month or so my conscience and body will nag at me if I don't exercise at least once a day. I just keep thinking "grandson, summer, water parks, zoo, horseback riding again, feeling good about myself, energy, , , , "0
