Did anyone else motive a huge difference the first full day avoiding gluten? I'm wondering if its a coincidence I have no pain or extreme bloating or headache? Can it really work that fast? I still feel a little bloated and a few light cramps but also I managed to clean entire house and do a monster pile of ironing and I didn't feel the need to sleep halfwaythrough.

I am so glad that you feel better......but I have to say that if your symptoms are caused by eating gluten I doubt that the improvement is purely down to elimination. If your vilia are damaged and not absorbing nutrients properly it will take weeks for them to recover. When I accidentally get glutened it takes at least 5 days to get over the symptoms and return to normal.. It is still great that you feel this well so keep it up. :) You are very welcome to come and do my ironing with all this new energy lol.

It is good that you are feeling better, but your stomach, IF you are Celieac, will take months at least to heal. You may even have not so great experiences along the way, as now your stomach will start absorbing more, both good and bad.

But just like quitting smoking, healing the body takes time.
