I was just sleeved on 2/4/15 and have my post-surgery follow-up this Thursday. Reading some of the posts from this group, I have seen a tremendous amount of support for each other and a lot of answers to questions I never even imagined. The Drs. can only tell you so much and those have been through the surgery can offer much more in-depth information, advice and support for those of us that are just beginning our journey.

    Welcome and congratulations on your surgery!! Hope all is going well for you. I was sleeved on Dec. 30, 2013 and was the best decision I have ever made! You are right, there are SO many fantastic supportive people here - this is where I get my encouragement!! I think you'll find that everyone's experience is very different - always encouraging to hear everyone else's experiences.:happy:

    I was sleeved Jan. 9th and have lost 37 lbs! I have had zero complications, recovery was a breeze, no issues with food tolerance and absolutely the best decision I ever made. I finally feel like I can, so let's do this!! :flowerforyou:

    Hi. I was sleeved in April 2013. Have lost just over 35kg now. Another 30-50kg to go. Happy to be your friend and support person.
