First-thanks to 1PatientBear for telling me about this group.
Today I did my first crossfit workout. Loved it. Been just doing elliptical and your everyday weights (sets and reps).
Crossfit is pretty big with my department. Have a couple guys who compete in the crossfit games and another who owns a crossfit gym in KC. We built a new training center and the gym is pretty much set up for crossfit as well.
After 16 minute circuit today felt like I got more of a workout than I ever have do my normal cardio and weights routine. Have to scale WOD down quite a bit or like today the guys set up a routine just for me to do. 8 stations 40 seconds per station 2 rounds. Again kicked my butt.
Can't wait till next one.
