New to group

Hi, I have not had the sleeve but I have the lap band. I am looking for support from people who are not judgemental of me having had weight loss surgery. I was banded Jan 2012. I have had 2 fills and at a point where I need to get another fill. I am just not sure about having one at this point as my eating habits have gotten bad. So I am trying to get back to eating correctly (portion sizes). And stay away from the sweets and snacks.

    Feel free to add me as a friend. I have several friends who have been successful with lap band. They follow the exact same diet that I was given by my surgeon. 1 is 2 yrs out and another is 6 yrs out. They both work the plan 70% protein25%veg(no potato)5%carb. They look fabulous . One of them is going for the plastic surgery to rid herself of the extra skin. They both say that you can keep your Krytonite foods and stay fat or let them go and get thin. They live a lifestyle that does not include wheat flour pasta, rice or much in the way of processed food. They also do not snack and they watch their calories closely. Their world no longer revolves around food and they both did counseling to deal with their problems and quit medicating with food. One was a fussy eater who learned to love veggies. They both say their maintenance calories are around 1400 a day for no exercise and 1600 if they did 30 min of exercise. They are around 5'5" and in their 40's with sedentary lifestyles. they have really been great mentors to me. Feel free to look at my diary it is open.
