Agreed, sleep is much more important to me now that it has ever been. Mostly due to CrossFit Monday-Friday, three of those days are 5:15am classes....so yeah, I'm in bed by 9:30 most days.

Sleep is so important to me. I fiercely protect my sleep. Since I take 6:15 CrossFit classes, I'm in bed by 9 latest, lights out by 10 latest.

Sooo agreed. I don't do early morning classes (9am most days) but still aim for 8 hours sleep every night. Gone are the days of surviving on 5-6 hours sleep!!

    I love sleep SO MUCH.

But I had to experiment with different things to get any. I now have a delicate balance of:

    1) No caffeine, at all, ever.
    2) A daylight lamp on my desk at work.
    3) The right mattress.
    4) The right level of exercise.
    5) Routine.

Hooray for sleep. My goal in 8 hrs average. I am close a lot of the time. And yes I get up for CF 3 times a week at 5:30am. The other classes are evenings.

I find if I don't get a good chunk of sleep my training (CF and running) really suffer.

Haha I have to agree with this. Not that I drink it every day, but 2-3 coffees a week is no problem in my books!
