Insanity for jogging

Hi there,

I know this isn't the first thread on here about this, so sorry to bring it up again. The stuff I've read online doesn't really have a conclusive answer, so I wanted to give you my situation and hope to get your opinions on the best option.

In short, I'm a fairly novice runner (been training since last August) and have booked in 4x 10k races between now and mid-June. As such there isn't a 60-day spell until then to do the Insanity workout (which I have purchased). And even if there was, I'd be wary of just dropping the jogging altogether.

So my question is simply; should I wait until the races are over and just do Insanity *properly* as designed, or do you think it's worth trying to combine it with my 10k runs?

My instinct from what I've read is that I should just wait, even though that's a bit infuriating, because it sounds like for a relative newbie, combining Insanity with jogging would be pretty hardcore.

Thanks for reading, sorry again for bringing this up once more...!
