Hi everyone - have you guys figured out that sticking to a meal plan is easier when you get the prep out of the way? It took me a while. In fact, sometimes life gets in the way and I skip it. Know what happens? I eat things that I shouldn't.
I do my weekly meal planning and grocery shopping on Saturdays, and then Sundays I spend prepping - by this, I mean chopping, sorting, packaging, portioning etc. It's really food organization.
If I have things ready to go, then I can't open the fridge and consider anything bad that might be in there (my sister's family eats all the healthy stuff I cook, but my BIL loves sugar and junk food and processed food - the cabinets here are land mines to my health!)
How do you make sure you stay on your plan?
