    Good morning,

When I started mfp I would log at the increased walking mph depending on what the DVD was like, such as for the faster miles vs 15 min/4 mph miles, or if I perceived it to be harder to do that day for me, such as the ones that added the strength/ firm band segments or were the longer or seemingly stronger miles.
I did it this way for quite a while and it worked for me but took time to figure it out daily, but then I was also new to counting cals and logging food and how mfp generally worked.

However, now for my walking DVDs I always use either 'aerobics, low impact' or 'walking 4 mph' (I consider this as an 'average' of the miles walked on any of the walking DVDs as I see it now).

Now it is quick and easy for me to log my walks on this 'average' and it continues to works for me, probably because I'm used to how logging food and exercise on mfp works for me.

I use 'low impact' for me b/c any of the Leslie DVDs which include some somewhat higher impact moves I always modify b/c I can't do the higher bouncy/ jumpy moves. But that is what I have to do and others might modify to raise things to a higher impact to increase their burn. In that case they might log as 'aerobics general' or a higher mph which has a higher cal burn per minute.

Hope this helps what you are asking.

Generally low impact aerobics and number of minutes works....here's Leslie's calorie estimator for her miles

The bootcamp DVD would be on the higher end, especially after mile 1 .....lots of boosts.
