    Dave, thanks for the great race report.
    Anything can happen on race day. Your training was rock solid. It is always a difficult call to make when you are being tough to continue running and when you are just being stupid. Running under those conditions could have resulted in an injury. Although hard to do, it was probably a good call not to continue.

    The toughest races have a tendency to become the best stories. I hope this race will leave fond memories.
