    Speaking of winners this reminds me. I was doing this 50k in January and the winner, Ian Sharman, goes flying past me. Ian set the course record for the Grand Slam of Ultra Running last summer and won Leadville while he was at it. He's also finished top 10 in the tough Miwok 100k in an Elvis costume but I digress.

    I did some quick math and realized that while I was at mile 10, he was at mile 20. Geez!! I was sick and carting cough drops as my race nutrition (sound familiar? lol) so I know if I was 100% I could have beat him. ;)

    Wow that is awesome, yep the cough drops sounds familiar LOL!!!

    Great recap!! You did fantastic. Runners are such crazy people-we run in the same conditions that we would otherwise call in a sick day at work! :wink:

    (I puked for almost the entire Dallas White Rock, was throwing up in the garbage can and had people patting me on the back saying good job and way to leave it all on the course. hahahaha, I LOVE runners!!! :heart: :heart: )

    It wasnt ideal but you finished and it sounds like you still enjoyed yourself despite it not being ideal. Great job!!!!

    You are so right, I almost called in sick to work today because I was not feeling good, but I did get up to run on Saturday LOL!!.

    Oh wow that must be hard running and throwing up, kudos for doing that and completing the race. And I agree I LOVE runners

    Sounds like you had a good time despite a hiccup with your leg! I'd love to be running in Pheonix, it snowed where I am again last night...
