Motivation

2 months from today in will be doing the Expedition Everest Challenge. The scary part is I fell off the MFP wagon HARD a couple weeks ago and don't think I could finish the race in my present condition. So my question to you is...what do you do to get your motivation back? I don't have a workout buddy because of crazy schedules, or a very supportive spouse. I need some ideas, don't want to get picked up by the "cart of shame" LOL
I would love any new friend requests, especially those that will yell at me if I don't track for a day

The 'cart of shame" should be some kind of motivation!!! LOL! A couple of weeks shouldn't make too much of a difference. I know what it's like to not have the support around you, but you have to focus on what you want for you. If this race is something you have always wanted to FINISH, keep that thought in the front of your mind ... and check in here to keep yourself on course! :bigsmile:0

I'm sorry, that sounds tough! I have a hard time getting motivated myself. I just started running again using he nike app, and I'll listen to podcasts or music, haha hat way I don't have to think about the actual running! You wouldn't be able to get a personal trainer would you? I know they can be kind of expensive or join a fitness class. I know there are once a week free classes in certain yoga studios, cross fit classes, and other gyms. If not, at least you have support here haha unfortunately I'm bad at yelling at people to work out because that's what my really fit step dad does to me, and I get really annoyed haha, but I'm really good at encouraging!0
