I'm getting ready to go work out for 60 min! Going to eat right and walk on my lunch break at work!! I need to figure out my food for today (will post later).
Question: I see this a lot "Lose weight by burning 500 calories more a day than you eat" "
So if I eat 1200 cals I need to burn 1700...that's what I'm getting from this....???

Okay you need to burn 500 calories more than you eat each day to lose 1 pound a week, but your body burns calories constantly, even while you sleep. Do a little bit of BMR and TDEE research. Here is a link of mfp with some info to start:
