weekend of the NSV

Hi all,
I'm still within 2 months of starting SL, but I have to say this workout is totally awesome!

I was bummed all week that my weight didn't go down again. (stuck at 271-2 from 285 at new years)

BUT! I had a whole weekend of NSVs so I can hardly wait until monday to lift all the things.

This weekend I:

fit back into my size 20 jeans
found the beginnings of a few muscles, yay delts and biceps!
lost another whole inch off of my bellybutton
finally convinced my boyfriend to let me show him lifting (he's gonna start woot!)
and I got antsy today to do a workout... which hasn't happened to me in 14 years!

Had to share this with someone, so thanks for reading. :drinker:

Congrats!!! Always awesome to see progress in other areas. I've never been fond of the scale.

Congratulations! The scale is not always my friend, either, and I can relate to some of your NSVs. Last weekend, my son's girlfriend who I'd just met, called me a tiny little thing! Im 5'4", 150#. Not exactly tiny, but it sure felt good to hear! My other don't fiancé's parents asked me what I'd been doing to lose weight and told me how good I looked. I told them about my lifting, but not that I really hadn't lost any weight.

I love the tangible results from SL. Every workout, from killer to not-so-good, has something you can point to as an improvement!
