Running schedule app?

I'm a bit of a data nerd, so I like to have my runs scheduled out in advance in Excel. My log is also in Excel. I also upload from my Garmin to RunKeeper. Lastly, I use SportTracks. Anyway, it just seems odd that I cannot seem to find an Android app where you can enter your own custom training plans. There are a ton of apps that will track as you run and log after you run, or give your their dumb canned routine, but none that I can find where it will show you your own custom schedule for upcoming days.
RunKeeper comes close. I love the app, but their training plans are canned and inflexible. If you don't like the days or distances for any given day - tough. I figured before I give up I would see what others do. Right now I print out a hard copy and post it to the fridge so I can check it out the night before the run or whatever if I don't want to fire up the computer. Any other good options? I hope this makes sense. Bonus points if the solution could act as a log and also keep track of equipment (shoe mileage, etc).

Doing more research I found Endomondo. They say that you can have schedules, but you can't really check it out without going "premium". So I would be interested in hearing any thoughts on Endomondo as well. Thanks!0

I like to have my scheduled runs available on my smartphone. I just create a google calendar and then use the google calendar app. Easy to check what I have going on that week quickly (and schedule other things around it, cuz I'm a bit of a nerdy runner that way!).0

i use the calendar on garmin connect. The best I have found for free. I input my schedule for the entire cycle and off I go. this also makes it easy to upload workouts to my garmin0

I gave up on finding the perfect app a while ago.
I use an old school agenda that I keep with me at all times0 -

This is what I do as well.0 -
Thanks, I never thought of using the calendar. FYI, I joined Edmondo and paid for one month of premium to see if it would do what I would like to do. Nope.
I will do the calendar thing. Thanks again for the tips!0 -
Funny, I was just reading the RunKeeper blog about this yesterday. They have a way to create a custom workout plan, I don't know if it's a Premium option or not as I haven't tried it, but you may want to check it out:

I just use a spreadsheet that I save on Dropbox. Then I can use the dropbox app on my Google Nexus, iPhone, or any computer to check my workouts.0

They are all canned plans you can choose from unfortunately. Great for some people, but I like more flexibility.0 -

Just curious, how do you do this? I have an account on Garmin Connect but haven't used it in awhile. So I threw some workouts on the calendar. I then downloaded the app but I cannot see the calendar from within the app. I only see the following widgets: Activities, Workouts, Courses and Personal Records. You can also add the Steps, Badges and Sleep widget. But nothing for the calendar. ??0 -

I use the website version, not the app. Sorry for the confusion.0 -
It is my understanding that the new Garmin watches (220/620) have this type of scheduling built into them. I do not own one so I can not comment on how well they do or do not work. I am like Carson and the others and just build my schedule in Google Calendar.0

I use a paper calendar and a pencil to plan my workouts. And I keep a log of them after the fact on Beginner Triathlete. I also use Garmin connect but I have uploading issues so it's more of a pain than anything to use that site right now.0

I have a paid map my run account. I apply a training plan, one of the canned plans. I look at my own plan, and on my phone calendar i put my long runs in on Sundays. On Saturdays I put the total number of miles i need to run based on my plan Monday - Saturday. Then i go out and run with my map my run app. It tracks the miles i actually ran against the canned plan. I look at both calendars daily to see how I'm doing with my mon-sat mileage goal.
The reason I bother applying the canned plan is that it has a start date and an end date (race day). It will track all of my miles for that time period and i can go back and look at my past plan and see that for HM #2 I ran 134 miles in the 12 week cycle. For #3 i ran 284, #4 was 320, etc. That way I can gage my progress. Maybe it's a little complicated, but i haven't found something that does everything i want, track my runs against my plan, keep track of mileage for a range of dates, and allows me to enter my own workouts ahead of time.0
